sonification / listening up  is a multi-speaker sound installment on MIT's building 54 broadcasting audio representations of sound waves embedded in the earth's charged upper atmosphere, or ionosphere. sonification / listening up is done in collaboration with dr. phil erickson of the atmospheric sciences group at MIT haystack observatory.

bodle is a graduate of the mit visual arts program '05

sonification / listening up was funded by:
